Hi Everyone!
I am excited to be painting with you !. I am a self taught watercolour artist. I can remember when I first started. There was lots to learn and it is fun ! I can't wait to have fun and teach you a trick or two to make amazing watercolour paintings. I started using watercolour as a way to unwind at the end of my busy day and find a creative outlet. I hope this comes true for you too and you fall in love with watercolour.
Looking forward to creating with you !
Angela

Title or Location: The Lifeboat house, Runswick Bay
I live in York so always enjoyed days out at the Coast. Many memories of Runswick Bay from my childhood and more recently with my own children. This is one of a series of paintings of the Yorkshire Coast from Saltburn all the way down to Hornsea.

Title or Location: Polynesian calm
Captured this image by taking a picture from the Dish Network calming channel. Some history (internet search and AI) revealed that the 2 stone statues in the work, are located on Easter Island and are called Moai. The carved were created from volcanic ash and were used to watch over villages and promote prosperity. The statues typically had oversized heads, heavy brows and elongated noses.

Title or Location: Maldives
I painted this scene in the Maldives from a photo taken by my friend, John. He was holidaying there in January ?26 celebrating his 60th birthday with his wife, Teresa. I thought it would make a great birthday gift, so I framed it and presented it to him when out for dinner with him and his wife. I?m proud of it as I tried new techniques to paint the clouds and sunshine, and I love that it will be hanging on their wall as a reminder of their amazing holiday.

Title or Location: ?See Ya Stewy?
This is a portrait is of my brother?s friend who recently passed away after a long battle with cancer. My brother, Chuck, this man, and another man have been best friends for over 60 years! They met as young teens and have been best friends ever since, often having some wild and crazy experiences. Despite several moves over the years they have lived near each other most of the time. I painted this portrait as a surprise and memorial gift for Chuck.

Title or Location: St Jude?s Church, Randwick
On this day I sat beside Sydney Sketch Club?s meetup group, who were all sketching Randwick Town Hall. There are so many iconic buildings to sketch along Avoca Street. I was previously a committee member of The Society of Artists, Newcastle.
